Terms of use and privacy policy

1. About the service

Pudem is run by Webstrong, IČO 06811701 (the “operator”), contact: info@webstrong.cz. It is a free service for regular groups: once a week it asks “pudem?” (“are we going?”) and you answer with one tap. It has no accounts or passwords; access is by link.

2. Rules of use

Follow the law. Do not disrupt the service, try other people's links, send spam, or load the service with automated requests or attempts at unauthorised access.

3. User content

Whoever enters names, event titles, places and reasons for answers is responsible for them. Do not enter unlawful or offensive content, or other people's personal data without their consent. We may remove content that breaks these rules.

4. Links are keys

Whoever has a link has access. An event's management link lets you manage the event, a member link lets you answer for that member, and an invitation lets you join. Keep your links safe and do not share them publicly. We cannot safely restore a lost link, because we do not know who it belongs to.

5. E-mails and notifications

We send only messages about an event you are in: confirmations, the “pudem?” question, reminders and changes of date. Anything else is sent only if you switched it on. You can stop e-mails with the link in every message and turn off phone notifications on your page. We never send third-party advertising.

6. Event organizers

An organizer is responsible for telling members they use Pudem and for using their data only for the event. Payment records in Pudem are only a note: no money moves through Pudem.

7. Removing data

A member can ask for their data to be removed by e-mailing info@webstrong.cz; include the event link and the address you entered. An organizer can remove a member or end an event. We keep data only where the law requires it.

8. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that data stays stored for ever. We may change, limit or end features.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for content entered by users, for who obtained a link, for cancelled or missed events, for an undelivered or late e-mail, or for damage from an outage. Pudem helps people agree; it does not guarantee attendance or a place.

We may change these terms; the current version on this page applies. They are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.

2. What we process

A member's name or nickname, an e-mail address (optional, only for reminders), answers to dates (going / can't, with a reason and guests if given), attendance and payment notes entered by the organizer, and your language setting. If you turn on phone notifications we store a technical identifier of that device. An organizer may give their e-mail. If you write to us through the feedback form, we process the text of your message, an optional e-mail for a reply, the kind of page, the language, a shortened browser string and the app version. We do not process passwords, payment cards or location.

3. Why, and on what basis

We process data to run the service: to ask, collect answers and show the organizer who is coming (legitimate interest and providing the service). We use your e-mail and phone notifications on the basis of your consent, given by entering an e-mail or turning notifications on, and you can withdraw it at any time. For security we briefly keep a hash of a network address to prevent abuse (legitimate interest); we do not store the address itself.

4. Who gets the data

An organizer sees their members' answers. Other members of the same event see names and answers as the event shows them. A venue owner can see counts, or names, only if the organizer allowed it. Our processors also handle data: a database provider, a hosting provider, an e-mail delivery provider, a browser notification delivery service and an error-monitoring provider. We store and process data in the European Union.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use only technical data needed to run the site: language, appearance (colours, light or dark mode) and a few small settings kept in your browser. No tracking or advertising cookies. We measure visits without cookies, and the secret part of a link never reaches the measurement. Error reports contain no e-mails or links.

6. How long we keep data

As long as the event exists. After it ends, or on request, we delete or anonymise it unless the law requires us to keep it. Technical logs and message queues are deleted after a short time. Feedback messages are kept for 12 months at most.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent. Write to info@webstrong.cz. You may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

8. Security

Transfer is encrypted. Data is reached only through a verified link, and the database does not allow direct access without verification. Keep your links safe: whoever has a link sees what you see.
